James' surfing experience's

So I mentioned recently that I would fancy a cheeky dip into the pond.
And by that I mean I want to stand on a piece of plastic riding a wave like train before I inevitably fall off and face plant the seabed below. Only to resurface with a nose full of sand, salt water and what was left of my brain.

I have surfed in the past twice.
But I would like to point out that James took to it naturally and attempted a handstand on the surfboard on the first day. Only for it to result in my my face hitting the seabed... with a nose full of sand, salt water and some of my ego.
A sad day
For me at least
My mate I was surfing with laughed so hard he nearly drowned and had to have a breather on the beach before his lungs were free from sea water.

The first surfing experience I had was with friends on a school trip in near Swansea.
It was a VeRy NiCe beach that was at least 3 miles long surrounded by sand dunes and were in the distance the wind blew the sand over the beach's surface to make it look like a storm that was being held back by a difference in atmosphere or some shit.
It was here when I skipped the typical "Lets lie down on our surfboards in the sand and pretend to be seals for 45mins" to running ahead with my mates and diving in the deep end. Only to realise that my balance is god awful.
And also watching people fall of a surfboard on a wave tht turned out to be waaaaaayyyyy to big for them is one of the funniest things that you can see... until that wave crashes down on you... in which case its just a massive dose of laughing karma. I think the place was called Rhossili Bay.
If you are into surfing go there its amazing.
