YouTubers hitting each other for views
So I don't know if the 3 people who end up reading this will have heard of whats happening with a couple of YouTubers, that seem to not like each other very much.
Normally internet beef is dealt with by the use of hate videos, shitty fan bases and more recently dis tracks.
However a couple of guys have decided to take it to a whole new level, that actually involves having a fight...
well I mean its barely a fight, its boxing match with headgear and 16oz gloves.
So its a fight with cushions
It will be like watching a couple of lads slap each other with soft toilet paper.
What I'm surprised by is how seriously both of the guys have taken this.
This fight was organised at the end of the summer of 2017 (So it was a result of the Mcgregor vs Mayweather fight)
But during the time that they have had to prepare, they have done it properly.
They could pass as semi pro boxers now in the space of 5 months
which is madness.
The fighters are none other than KSI and Joe Weller
I'm not going into the backstory of why this fight is happening because honestly I don't really give a shit it dosent make a difference.
What I am interested is how I think the fight is going to go.
I'll start with KSI.
KSI started out a lot bigger compared to Joe, weight and height wise. He has now cut down to a much similar weight however his height and reach remains the same.
From what I can tell from his attitude, he is VERY confident in his ability. He has obviously put a lot of work into it. His sparring videos show that he is very capable however his hand positoning is poor. In full guard he looks stiff and motionless, however when he throws a punch it goes his entire body opens up especially when he's tired.
He has been working specifically on movement and speed.
Movement I'm all for but speed is a risky path as you can very easily get carried away with speed and burn out. Plus as we know Timing is more important than speed.
Joe is much more contained in his attitude. He is very clam and self measured, he does not over estemate himself. Uuuuuunnttiillll he steps in a ring where he just turns into Mike Tyson.
Which he has obvioulsy taken inspiration from. Lots of head movement, pivot able movements.
He has always been in shape but only to look aesthetic.
My concern for him is that he also gases out, due to all the excess movement he uses to evade and fire away.
