Delayed muscle onset and why its a bitch

Yep I'm still in pain from just a two mile run I did two days ago.
I knew this would happen which takes some of the sting out of it

BUT

That doesn't mean it still doesn't hurt
Cos it does
Walking up stairs for me is now insanely painful
And so is just walking in general...

So I now walk like the dude from Grease
Like the floor is lava...

So D.O.M's are basically when muscles have been hypertrophying for a while (not being used) are suddenly called into action and simply are not ready for it and so they simply produce a lot of lactic acid over a longer period of time.
They feel stiff and also ache  a lot.

I think another 2 days is what it is going to take for my legs to recover to an acceptable state.
In the mean time I have realised that it is still kind of Christmas and I'm at home... Soooo James is eating a lot more than normal and he is not able to burn off the extra calories through runs or by using the uni Gym (trust me the gyms around me at home are shite)
So I am watching my weight very carefully now more than ever...

Before continuing to eat more shit.
