Shirts I own (that I like)
If you think of a basic clothing item you would think of a white short sleeved t-shirt. So here it is.
This shirt is quite tight as you can see mainly around the upper chest. It's a cheap Primark shirt that I normally put another shirt over the top of.
I find its a good base for more colour to be put on top, like applying paint onto a canvas.
I do have a problem with the collar, which seems to stick up when its not supposed to... I have 2 of these shirts.
One thing that I love to do is taking a normal button up shirt that you would normally wear on its own and combine it with the white shirt that I talked about above.
It ends up looking like a jacket but a lot thinner.
This particular shirt is made out of two thickness's of cotton. The front, arms and shoulders are made of a thicker cotton where as the back is made of a much thinner cotton. You can tell how thin it is when you take it out of the wash as it turns from a blue into a slight turquoise and slightly transparent.
Similar principle here with the shirt going over the top of another shirt. Except this shirt I guess is "more suited" to going over another shirt. Its a lot thicker than the blue shirt above.
And I like the red pattern over the top which reminds me of the sort of jacket that a lumberjack or a farmer would wear. I like to wear the sleeves rolled up on most of my shirts and for some reason the sleeves on this shirt have a habit of falling down. I think this might be because the sleeves aren't narrow enough so that even when the sleeves are folded up it drops past the elbows and then proceeds to falling down completely.
If you were to ask me now what my favourite shirt is...
It would be this one. Its quite a loose fitting shirt. It's colour means that when you sweat it really shows up as a deep black so I pretty much never wear it on a hot day. Plus the underarm seam is a little tight it causes the entire side seam exposing the lower waist (as you can see in this might I say "gorgeous" picture)
However its such a nice shirt to wear. Its warm and flexible and I wear it normally and sometimes when practising Mixed Martial arts as it allows my upper body to move very well.
It also has this slightly bumped texture.
This bottom shirt is pretty much the same from the white shirt at the top except it has longer sleeves.
Unlike the white shirt I don't wear any shirts over the top of this as black doesn't seem to go with brighter colours. But it looks good and fits well even without a shirt over the top.
Also apologies for the cringey photography work, that literally took place 3inches from my toilet.
I just wanted to show how the shirts fit...
