Sewing #3

I cant believe that I'm actually saying this but I have somehow made a shirt...
I mean kind of. Its just a 3D instruction manual about how to make a shirt but you get the point.
My plan is to stick it up on my wall at home and look at it like "that my dear boy is where it all started"

I can now control a sewing machine (Thanks to Steve) Which I think can be classified as useful.
I think one of the hardest things for me to grasp this week was the fact that Fabric can fold twist, squeeze, turn, contract and stretch which makes the sewing part of it very confusing.
The knowing of where to sew and on what side is like being a 2D object trying to navigate a 3D landscape whilst trying to understand the concept of Up and down. If that makes sense...
To be honest that's just the way that I look at it, I'm almost 100% sure that after reading that last sentence you are just thinking... what the fuck?

Hey James, as always, a great level of reflection, insight and humour. You might not realise it, but your constant and progressive use of aesthetic and verbal analogies is an excellent exercise in lateral thinking - one of the fundamental skills in creative design. Great work
