Time...
So James wants a watch...
I can literally sense Tom reading this and all of a sudden grabbing a glass of wine and grinning with uncontrollable joy...
In fact Tom if you could leave some feedback regarding my research and what you think...
Feel free
Go nuts
ANYWAY
My plan is to get a watch that I am going to use for at least 5 years...
And for me that's a big ask because I get bored with stuff really quickly.
I don't even think I have an Item of clothing that I've owned for 5 years...
Truuuueeeee I might of grown out of everything I wore 5 years ago
(I definitely did what am I on about I was like 5 ft 5 when I was 13-14...)
So I'm going to need to go for something timeless...
Something that I could have worn 10+ years ago and still be admired.
I also want to get a automatic/mechanical watch simply for the knowlage that I am wearing an incredibly intricate piece of machinery on my wrist that is powered literally by the movement of my arm.
I mean it makes a battery look like a rodent...
On the Subject of Dive watches
ummm
I really don't know what to think about this brand
Invicta...
People seem to like them or hate them
As far as I can tell its because they rip off the classic Rolex Submariner (So Tom I can guess where you stand on that subject)
But some of the designs (The discreeter ones) I really like
But I have a slight feeling that in the future as my Watch knowledge increases I am gong to end up hating it in some way.
The last watch I am going to talk about is the Swatch system 51.
A automatic mechanism held together by one screw...
Even I am fascinated by this and I don't even know what I'm talking about!
Unfortunelty I don't really like the querky style of these watches, I mean I do like it and I can see why some people might love it however I feel like for me its not the move.
But the range in graphic designs on them is hugeeee...

Haha look at it gooooo
My first intrest lies in the Seiko Skx 007.
I am liking the Diver watch look and as far as I can tell so Far this is an Iconic watch for its price range.
However at £200 as a student is like Pretending to to be Mary Poppins
You may look cool for five seconds flying through the air with an umbrella but at the end of the day you're just going to hit the ground with an almighty thud like the rest of us.
So a similar model would be the SNZF15K1 23 which is a bit smaller but none the less still has that Iconic look, just with a smaller movement.
