Story idea that could actually work
I had this idea in the middle of contemporary practice right after Tom asked me for my story idea
(what a coincidence)
It basically derives from what I personally think hell is
So here it is
A rough idea.
So my avatar at the beginning of the story is basically just going to be me right now.
I much simpler version of me almost a slightly tanned canvas to paint on. Which will be needed because the story is how the littlest things can effect the rest of your life. Butterfly effect in a sense.
So we are just going to have a quick overview of a simple version of myself... you know just so you don't get confused (because you might later)
And we are going to have an event in time at one point...
Like a really small one
An everyday even
e.g. bumping into someone
tripping on your own feet
dropping your bag
etc.... etc
And in this event time is going to split into two different reality's.
So in one reality the person had this minor event and in the other they didn't... like nothing even happened.
And from this I'm going to showcase very simply how someones personality and lifestyle can change drastically over the space of a few months.
So one of the versions of me could all of a sudden become really successful and have a really high point in their life
And the other could spiral down out of control, on the surface.
However after all this time an event in both reality's occurs again
at the same time
to both versions of the character
That involves them both dying at the same time
In the same place
In the same way
Someone once told me the definition of hell...
"Hell is a place where the person you became meets the person you could of become"
It's a little philosophy that I follow
So the two characters meet.
In a strange place in-between life and death.
Here they exchange what happened to eachother
who they met
what they did differently etc
And from here the story is going to get a bit fucked up
And that is also where I'm going to leave this brief description
I'm playing the cards close to my chest here
1. Because I'm planning to make this into a short film so I don't want to ruin it
2. I don't trust anyone so I'm worried that some weird person will steal my idea
3. I like secrets
Makes things more interesting
