Trouble is I already know roughly what I want to make

Might as well spill my plan.

Basically I don't need any more "jean trousers" I already love the ones I have
BUT I DON'T HAVE SHORTS

James found a loophole

I had a pair of jean shorts when I was younger when I went through a gladly short John Cena phase where I would walk around in them waving my hand in front of my face saying "You can't see me"

Don't worry I'm not going to make another pair that go down to the ankles. 

I have a better idea. 

Recently I have wanted to have a pair of jean shorts that go down to just above the knee, that have a distressed look. 

Is that the word? 

That just makes the jeans sound like they're crying 

Probably because they've been torn or cut open. 

I'd probably cry if I was. 

I still need to figure out the design and where I'm going to get the influence for my project from.
