My gym doesn't like feet...
Now before you jump to conclusions...
No
I don't have dirty feet
However when I use the punchbag at the gym I do take my shoes and socks off, why?
Well I don't want to kick the bag with shoes on as it numbs the felling of the floor beneath me which when you are throwing head kicks and spinning kicks, you very much need to be able to feel the floor with your toes and heel.
Also with previous experience of using punch bags in gyms they sometimes do not want you wearing shoes when kicking it as you could tear the fabric holding it together or stain it.
The human foot is also very grippy and doesn't tend to slide around on a smooth surface unlike shoes and socks.
So to be told after 3 months of using the punchbag with no shoes on, makes me feel a little bit pissed.
I guess they might just have to come to terms that their lil heavy bag might have to be scuffed around a lil bit...
Although I'm pretty sure that my shoes all have non marking soles...
Well shit
