Tread carefully... The Holocaust

Well
Here it is
In my words
Enjoy...

Okay not enjoy, that would be wrong.... Urgh Disturbing

Um...

JUST PAY ATTENTION

Anywayyyy

So 17 million people...
Killed because of their faith, political stand points, race, sexuality....
This is the population of countries like Croatia, Denmark and Paraguay...

Combined...

Of this 17 million people 6 million of them were Jewish who were the group of people that lost the most.

This was caused by the rise and fall of the Nazi empire and was coordinated by Adolf Hitler and the SS...

When Hitler came to power in 1933 he was very open abou....

Okay I'm just starting to realise that this is turning into a bit of an essay...
And lets face it who has time for that? I mean those of you reading this are probably more bored than a 12 year old who has had his Xbox Confiscated, who's scared of the sun...
Unless your Tom
Probably reading this sat down with a glass of wine... (Probably a bottle)
I'll try to slim this down a bit...
But it's going to be blunt!

Anyway so in 1933 Hitler came to power and basically blamed the Jews for most of society's problems in Germany since the loss of world war 1... Which left Germany in massive dept, and the lack of money as usual makes people angry... But they needed someone to blame. So "Apparently Jews were responsible for Sickness, Financial issues and for trying to make the country communist.

And so began the "Final solution to the Jewish question" which involved deporting the Jewish population of Captured Europe to ghetto's which later turned into them being moved to concentration camps (Death Camps) where they were forced to live in inhabitable living conditions, forced to work  and were used in scientific experiments...and when they couldn't...
They were killed...
Most likely by Gas chamber
Again can I just state 17 Million people...

I'm having to write this listening to John Williams' music...
So I stick to the point and don't go on a tangent on a serious subject...

Writing this I'm trying not to write an essay on this because that isn't what it's supposed to be.
I'm just simply trying to talk about it in my style which I'm actually struggling to do because normally I'll admit I'm very sarcastic with a touch of cold humour... Here if I use any of that I'm immediately going somewhere I'm not supposed to go.

Also whilst writing this I'm finding myself to get quite angry, because I'm doing all this research and I'm seeing something that we as humans simply can't get out of our (lets face it in the bigger picture) US AND THEM mindset. We all have that in some point in our lives... even right now I have dozens of us and them thoughts such as the people who put pineapple on pizza and those who don't...

It's a very primal part of our nature which tends to arrive from the ways we were brought up and the things we learn when we are young such as vegetables are good for you and that a pan over a hob is hot so we don't touch it...

Its those such things that can't necessarily be removed from our minds, they're en-grained in there deep and I feel like that what was going on with the Nazi propaganda. If you learn something that "CAN" make sense and you agree with it then... you could be in any mindset.

It's thoughts like this that keep me up at night as they are deeply concerning.

The holocaust then is a disgusting reality check on what the human mind is capable of doing and how it can influence and act.
It goes without saying that its probably the worst case of mass genocide ever in modern or even the entire history of mankind.

Now if you'll excuse me...
I'm going to write about something that makes me feel happy...

Really powerful and reflective post. There is so much going on here as you twist and explore the subject, yourself and the broader human context of who we are, where we've come from and where we might be going.

It also shows a blossoming broader awareness in your outlook and appreciation for the complexity of the human experience.

As you have done here, explore, learn, reflect, interpret and express yourself. It's through this process that we, as humans, shape the future and being aware of that, gives us a fighting chance of not making the same mistakes. In other words, a chance to become 'better'.

A super tough bit of work - that had my full attention from start to finish (even if I am a bottle down).
