Tar Barrels

So I went home for a weekend to spend some time with friends and family at the Local Tar barrels event.
I don't know if you have ever been to one of these in Ottery st Mary but if you get into it it gets intense!!
Like seriously even though the barrels are huge and glow like crazy, because there are so many people in the way of your view its difficult to umm... you know... see the Barrel coming towards you. It's probably one of the most thrilling experiences that you can have in Devon. (probably because it's Devon) but if you don't move out of the way then it is highly likely that you will get run over by a group of "fired" up men before they spill a boiling hot load *phrasing* of tar all over you as you slowly burn to death....

 

Hence why you don't look at the floor... you just sort of grab the nearest person to you and run backwards and forwards constantly like waves rolling back and forth around a coastline.

Anyway sorry about there being a lack of posts over the weekend, truth is I have been busy... for two days... sorry...
