Finisterre pattern inspiration

So after the feedback that I received from the surfing forum I decided to combine my idea of using the pattern in a tattoo kind of style whilst using inspiration from from pattern work from Iran...

As you can see the artwork from Iran uses mainly circles and triangles.originating from a centre point. The colours a bright and vibrant. The work is normally seen on the ceilings inside mosques and on plates, bowls, maybe even on the floor in like mosaic fashion. 

I think that it would be interesting to see this sort of style in a strict colour scheme or in black and white... to the sketch books
