Pattern Cutting #1
We looked at the basic block dress, A frame dress and Flared dress.
Each of them would originate from the block dress with only a few changes in the way the blocks were drawn or cut to create more space depending on the shape of the body and the fit that was required.
The images above show some of my progress throughout the day.
I actually enjoyed this session, after only having about five minutes of experience at home for my summer project. (me sadly sat at my table, drinking a mildly warm coffee because the kettle didn't work and using tracing paper... because I didn't have any layout or pattern paper)
it is fair to say that if I had the experience that I had today the result may of come out a bit better than before.
I would of stood up instead
