Materials seminar
Here is an image of what we were doing today which was basically just looking at some natural materials and fabrics.
I actually found this to be quite interesting considering that I know little to none about the subject.
We focused on natural materials like protein fibres such as silk and wool and we looked at how thee materials could be woven together to make different fabrics.
It was also interesting to see how wool from sheep that lived in the different parts of the world differed as well. For example if a sheep lived in a warm country like Australia the wool would be soft and smooth where as if it came from a sheep that lived in the mountains of Wales, the wool was much much more coarse and rough to the touch.
